You can remove the cover in situ, unclip it from around the cables then along its length, its not easy but do able. If your not happy doing that, disconnect the battery, remove the connector then take off the cover, insert the connector, connect the battery. redman. Your problem may be with the engine cooling module. When in traffic you can cool your engine via the internal heater being set to max speed and max heat. You'll need to have the windows open and direct the heat away from you. Purely a temporary solution. Your problem may be with the engine cooling module.
